Thunder Horse is an in your face project of long time touring veterans and seasoned musicians. Featured are the vocals and rhythm guitar of Stephen Bishop (Pitbull Daycare) the drummer, Jason “Shakes” West (Murderdolls, Wednesday 13, Neurotica, Sebastian Bach, Athanasia), scorching Lead guitar of T.C. Connally (Evil United, PB/DC, Cult to Follow) and 12-string bass of “Big Dave” Crow (JuJu Beans).

Hailing from the Texas and Oklahoma, Thunder Horse oozes influences of soulful guitar driven southern metal. It’s hard to pinpoint their genre, but Classic Doom, Heavy Blues and Guitar Driven Rock-n-Roll are easily identifiable in their debut self-titled release.

Thunder Horse delivers metal that is played slow and low, with an intensity few others can replicate. A wall of amps and an almost tribal rhythmic vibe produces a guttural sound with intense and mind-bending sensations. Imagine if Black Sabbath and Jane’s Addiction melded into one band and had a Pink Floyd influenced stage show with a Quadraphonic PA:
